The vicissitude

Some impressions and random thoughts from ups and downs in life

So much for fat

Being inspired by Jimmy and Viren, I started the weight lose program few months ago.I was dreaming to lose around 15 kgs in 3 months. I started with only fuit salad and juice in the beginnning for few days along with 1 hour regular gym. Trust me, it's not for weak hearted person.I started seeing hallucination of rice and chicken anytime. But that helped me to reduce 3 kgs in less than 3 weeks. I couldn't follow this routine religiously. Weekend seemed to be incomplete without tandoori chicken and beer. And this will take no time to turn you into uncle. At least, Pakjum bhai will agree on this.

Then I tried Herbalife, a natural protein powder. It worked well and I lost 4 kgs. But again, if you break the rule, you ll gain weight in no time. You need to drink around 6 litres of water a day. This will make you think many times to go to unknown and crowded places. This product doesn't have any side effect but it ll definitely affect your bank balance.

Many of my friends try different methods to lose weight.Bro Alik runs marathon from Maratahalli to Whitefield every weekend. Honi lives just on boiled vegetables(when Yomde is not around).Ballu switched to Aerobics from Salsa in his course of a month duration.Currently, he is on 'walk when you talk' idea. But Dk's tactics of shifting to Chennai to sweat naturally is something unique and innovative. I hope it is working for him.
I think the most effective method is when you determine to impress someone beautiful.

I am happy with my weight now and is planning to try some other technique in Nov.to lose another 7 kgs.But I must admitt that there is no short cut to lose weight.

Obesity is a curse disease now a days. Good to hear that you are loosing weight. Try not to travel by vehicle every time. it might help you a bit.
